"It's amazing what paint can do. Couldn't be happier with the end result."

– Andrea J., White Rock, BC

It is always fun working in a designer’s own house. Not only do we get to be a part of helping a designer turn her personal space into a reality, it usually also means we get a photo worthy project to feature. This kitchen cabinet repaint was no exception. Once again we had the pleasure of working with designer Andrea Johnson on her kitchen renovation.

She was updating her dark and dated kitchen. Floors were replaced with medium tone hardwood and a simple squared white subway tile was installed on the backsplash. The counters were replaced with a white quartz and the chandelier was updated with a stunning gold rectangular chandelier from the Cross Design and Decor.

GREY IS THE NEW WHITE IN CABINETS

Andrea isn’t afraid to be daring when it comes to her kitchen makeovers. Steering away from the very popular white cabinets, she once again chose grey for the cabinet colour. We used Benjamin Moore Deep Silver (2124-30). The combination of the grey cabinets and the white counters with backsplash resulted in a timeless kitchen fit for a designer.
