"Thank you so much for the beautiful job. The house has never looked better. Your crew was an absolute pleasure."

– Linda S., Surrey BC

When we first met Linda, the owner of this beautiful craftsman styled home in Crescent Beach, we actually wondered why we were there. She hired Warline to repaint the interior of her home and had asked for a colour consultation to help her pick colours.

Linda’s style is amazing and her house was already beautiful. She explained that when they bought the home a few years earlier, they liked the existing colours and furnished around it. Linda was ready now for a change but didn’t want to completely redecorate. Repainting the walls in new colours was a great solution.

GREEN AND GOLD

The house had a sophisticated country feel to it but was also relaxing and very comfortable. We deepened the exisitng wall colour to Benjamin Moore Shelburne Buff (HC-28). We repeated the colour on the ceilings to create even more of the cozy comfortable feel of the house.

Upstairs the grey green walls were updated with a fresher green. Benjamin Moore Georgian Green (HC-115) was used in all the bedrooms. The ceilings were kept white upstairs to brighten up the space and play off of the white accents throughout the bedrooms and bathrooms.

For the trim we choose Benjamin Moore Mayonnaise (OC-85). We wanted something that would work with both the freshness of Georgian Green and the rich gold of Shelburne Buff. Mayonnaise worked beautifully.

All the trim was painted in Benjamin Moore Advance. We love the leveling properties of Advance and the hardness of the surface once the paint has cured. With an extensive amount of trim to all be painted by brush, Advance was the perfect product for the job.

The walls were painted in Benjamin Moore Aura in a flat finish. Linda has grandchildren so washable walls were a must. The ceilings in Benjamin Moore ceiling paint.

Some of the little extras done on this job included painting all 17 brass wall sconces with a metallic paint in a brushed oil finish to complete the details.

In the end, a new colour was the perfect update to this already beautiful craftsman home.
