We loved working on this project. When we first visited the property we saw the potential to turn this 100 year old plus home into a showcase heritage home in New West.
The owners were already replacing most of the upper windows and were committed to taking all the necessary steps to replace and restore wood that was in rough condition.
Our carpentry team took care of siding replacement and a full deck replacement in the back. Trim was replaced and steps were taken to ensure old trim matched the original profile of the home.
The owners were eager to see a new colour scheme on this house. We explored multiple colours from both the Vancouver True Colours Historical palette as well as colours from the Benjamin Moore Williamsburg collection.
In the end we chose a more updated historical palette with the following colours. All paint was done in Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior latex in order to ensure the best fade resistance.
Siding: Benjamin Moore Templeton Gray (HC-161)
Trim: Benjamin Moore Old Prairie (OC-42)
Windows and Doors: Benjamin Moore Arroyo Red (2085-10)
Accents and Front Porch Floor: Benjamin Moore Everard Blue from the Williamsburg Collection (CW-575)
