"Warren spent time with us explaining the scope of the job. No other company did that. Great communication."

When you think of blue for an exterior house colour, most people envision a navy house and that is exactly where this house started. It was a washed out dark blue that didn’t do anything to bring out the beautiful details or symmetry of this Kitsilano house.

By changing the colour of the stucco and shingles to the smokey rich Benjamin Moore Duxbury Blue (HC-163), the house was less of a dark contrast and a better compliment to the rich trim colour. Warline painted all the stucco in a flat finish and used Benjamin Moore Aura exterior latex paint in a low lustre finish on all the shingles. The low lustre sheen is the perfect level of shine when using rich deep colours like Duxbury Blue.

The trim as finished in Benjamin Moore Aura in a satin finish and we used Opaline (OC-33). This super creamy trim has a green undertone to complement the blue siding and also play off the stunning garden throughout.
